Automotive Design & Engineering Resources
With the recent explosion of interest in electric vehicles, the field of automotive design and engineering is
now offering a huge opportunity for designers. University engineering programs are rapidly restructuring to
accommodate the demand, and the automotive industry is being revolutionized similarly. Body aerodynamics,
lightweight composite frames, high output brushless motors, high energy density storage batteries, electronic and
high power control circuitry, active suspension systems, autonomous steering, collision avoidance and survival,
parking, braking, climate control, driver awareness monitoring, wireless connectivity, satellite navigation
systems, and much more now goes into vehicle design. This field is wide open to innovation.
My policy is to only list companies that actually manufacture product or offer services related to the page title subject.
Product distributors and sales representatives are not listed (they have their own page). This helps guarantee that each
listing offers a unique product or service. NOTICE: I am no longer adding hyperlinks. Your best bet is to use a search
