AN (Army / Navy) Component Designators & Designations

This is a very comprehensive list of U.S. (Army / Navy) AN Components Designators & Designations

These AN (Army/Navy) component designators describe nomenclature that sometimes replaces the AN part of the designator.

For example, ID-42/APQ-13 describes an airborne, radar, special purpose (APQ-13) with a model 42 indicator (ID). Refer to AN Equipment Indicators for AN designations.
