Custom MMIC Expands Its High Performance GaAs Portfolio - RF CafeChelmsford, MA – November 4, 2019 – Custom MMIC (www.CustomMMIC.com), continues the rapid expansion of its standard product portfolio with three new additions to its GaAs MMIC mixer portfolio. The CMD312, CMD313 and CMD253 are wideband GaAs double balanced mixers, operating from 4 to 28, 6 to 45 and 6 to 14 GHz respectively. These new MMICs are intended to support emerging wide bandwidth applications in Test Equipment, Instrumentation, Aerospace and Defense. All three mixers feature low conversion gain and high isolation performance. They are offered in die form, with a packaged version already available in the CMD253 and planned for the CMD312 and CMD313.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
