(AEI) manufactures and supplies RF and microwave filters for Military and Commercial communication systems, providing standard, custom RF filters, and RF products. Our standard RF filters are based on previously designed RF filters, drawn from our technical database, and published on our website for ease of procurement. Custom RF filters designs are used when a standard cannot be found, or the requirements are such that a custom approach is necessary.

Our products include all types of RF filters, and Microwave filters, such as band pass,low pass, high pass , band stop & notch filters, duplexers, diplexers, triplexers, multiplexers, tunable filters, switched filter banks, and more..., in classic topologies, such as Butterworth, Chebyshev, and Elliptic. Many tools are used to better customize the requirements, such as Bessel, Minimum group delay variations, amplitude equalizers, group delay equalizers, phase matched, and more.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
