Kirkland, Washington - BBTLine (BroadBand Transmission Line) has announced a significant substrate layout modification that pushes the performance of their 2- and 4-way power dividers / combiners out to a full 7 GHz. Performance plots of the new configurations are shown below. BBTLine's unique patented (U.S. Patent 9,570,792) design allows for more compact devices while maintaining low insertion loss, excellent return loss and excellent amplitude and phase balance. S-parameter (S2P) files can be downloaded.

RF Splitter Combiner 4-Way BroadBand 500 MHz to 7 GHz Surface Mount SMT - RF CafeAlthough there are endless RF power splitters / combiners to choose from on the market, once you start narrowing the search criteria down to 1) Broadband, 2) Surface Mount, and 3) Higher RF Power Rating characteristics, the number of choices is reduced considerably. BBTLine's line of surface-mount splitters / combiners addresses this market deficiency.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The Internet was still largely an unknown entity at the time and not much was available in the form of WYSIWYG ...
