Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The TTRM1008 is a high linearity GaAs FET bi-directional SSPA suitable for use with any modulation and signal type. It is currently utilized in UAV data links and long range point-point COFDM video links. High speed T/R switching and sequencing of the PA, LNA, and switch driver circuitry is performed by an on-board CPLD, where switching timing can be adjusted in firmware based on system requirements. The transmit section produces over 25 Watts of BPSK power, and 5 Watts of 64 QAM. The unit also features a manual digital gain setting and a three color status LED on the front panel that shows if the SSPA is in transmit or receive mode, or if an alarm condition exists. The amplifier housing is weatherproofed per the guidelines of IP66. Other frequency bands including 5.0 - 5.3 and 5.3 - 5.9 GHz bands are available. (Learn more ...)
The TA1007 is a Class A GaAs FET SSPA that produces linear power from 500 to 2800 MHz. Unlike GaN amplifiers, the TA1007 produces linear output power as it typically achieves an output third order intercept point (OIP3) of a 20 W amplifier but only consumes the DC power of a 5 W unit. The amplifier produces 40 dB of linear gain, and operates between +11 V to +13 V. It is suitable for use with any modulation and signal type including but not limited to 4-5G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB and CW/AM/FM. The unit has over/under and reverse voltage protection and can switch between on and off in < 1 usec. An integrated heatsink is available. (Learn more ...)
