Highly trained experts will be available for consultations in custom EMI/RFI solutions offering rapid prototyping and demonstrated quality
Easton, PA—Orbel Corporation, designer and manufacturer of custom EMI/RFI shielding, photo-etched precision metal parts, and precision metal stamping will be featuring their EMI/RFI solutions at IMS 2015. Products include board level shielding, finger-stock gaskets and metalized fabric gaskets.
Board Level Shielding (BLS): BLS is used to restrict the amount of electromagnetic energy propagating between the source and a receptor to acceptable levels. Near-field effects, layout and hole design, resonances, and thermal management are all elements Orbel takes into consideration in relation to shielding effectiveness.
Finger-Stock Gaskets: Orbel offers a wide variety of beryllium copper finger-stock profiles, modified finger stock, contact strips, contact rings, metal connector gaskets, and fully customizable EMI/RFI shielding gaskets. All beryllium and stainless steel finger strips offer the industry's highest EMI/RFI shielding effectiveness, while Orbel finger-stock gasketing is ideal for repeated effective opening and closing applications where high attenuation performance and mechanical strength is required.
Metalized Fabric Gaskets: Ideal for the control of electromagnetic performance, Orbel's line of metalized fabric gaskets is manufactured from a resilient polyurethane foam core and wrapped with a durable high-performance nickel-plated copper-conductive fabric. Orbel offers over 100 standard fabric-over-foam gaskets in a wide variety of shapes and profiles. Custom modifications include cut to length, kiss-cutting, and miter cutting for frame-style gaskets. Orbel experts will also be on-hand to present their industry-leading ability to manufacture custom metal parts from a variety of engineered materials. Orbel is among the few companies in the world that process beryllium copper parts entirely in-house with no sub-suppliers. Perfect Your Putt and Win! A putting green will also be available for attendees to take their shot for a prize!
