Linx Technologies' CEO Tolga Latif Receives Service Member Patriot Award
|
 May 24, 2013
Tolga Latif, CEO of Linx Technologies, has received the
Service Member Patriot Award sponsored by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
(ESGR). This award recognizes supervisors and bosses nominated by an employee serving in the
National Guard or Reserve for support provided directly to the nominating Service Member.
The Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support the ‘Citizen Warriors’ through a
wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment,
caring for families and granting leaves of absence if needed.
“Whether
it is through specific policies or a general supportive attitude, Tolga has created a climate
that embraces military service, enabling his management staff to provide outstanding support
to soldiers and veterans such as myself while working at Linx Technologies. The reinforcement
I receive from Tolga and other staff gives me the ability to excel as a Citizen-Soldier and
fulfill my duties both to the community and to the Oregon Army National Guard.” – Joel Krawczyk
Joel enlisted in the Oregon Army National Guard in 2008 with F Co. 141 BSB out of Medford,
OR. He deployed to Iraq with D Co. 1-186 in 2010 out of Merlin, OR. In 2010, Joel was
awarded Army Commendation Medal for service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In Spring
of 2012, Joel came on board at Linx Technologies as an Electrical Engineer. His current duty
in the National Guard includes Electronic Device Repair and his current rank is Specialist E-4.
“Some of Linx’s best employees were hired as members of the National Guard. The U.S. Military
fosters similar core values as Linx such as integrity, humility, team work and work ethic. It’s
only natural that we would support our associates’ continued participation in what made them
into the great employees that they are today.” – Tolga Latif

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
