|

September 9, 2013 --
-- New from JFW Industries: 50BA-011-95
and 50BA-010-127
JFW Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce two new additions to
our series of mini-benchtop, programmable attenuator assemblies. The
50BA-011-95 offers 0-95 dB of attenuation in 1 dB steps from 200-6000 MHz, while
the
50BA-010-127 gives 0-127 dB and operates 700-3000 MHz. Other configurations
are also available. Please visit

[borders/inc-300x250.htm]The
mini benchtop models are JFW’s latest line of attenuator assemblies. These units are DC powered
using a wall transformer that is shipped with each unit. The current attenuation of each variable
attenuator is displayed on the front panel. The variable attenuators can be controlled remotely
or manually. Each attenuator can be manually set using the lever switches on the front panel.
These lever switches are momentary so that you can "tap to step" or "hold to jog" to change
the attenuation. The speed of the "hold to jog" feature has ten different speed settings to
allow for manual handover testing with different attenuation fading speeds.
The models
in this table were inspired by customer requests. If you do not find a model with the mechanical/electrical
features that you require, please email your requests directly to our engineering department
(jfwengr@jfwindustries.com). JFW does not charge
NRE’s and will respond to your request with a quick cost estimate.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
