Hittite's New High Linearity Digital Attenuator for Infrastructure Applications-- New 6-Bit Digital Attenuator Serves IF Frequencies From 60 to 500 MHz
The HMC624LFLP4E is a GaAs MMIC High Linearity 6-Bit Digital Attenuator which operates from 60 to 500 MHz, and can be programmed to provide from 0.5 to 31.5 dB of relative attenuation with 0.5 dB resolution. The HMC624LFLP4E exhibits low insertion loss of 1.2 dB, high input IP3 of +55 dBm, and outstanding accuracy of 0.1 dB step error. The dual mode control interface is CMOS/TTL compatible, and accepts either a three-wire serial input or a 6 bit parallel word with either 0/+3V or 0/+5V logic for added flexibility. The HMC624LFLP4E also features user selectable power up states and a serial output for cascading other Hittite serially controlled components.
The HMC624LFLP4E is housed in a RoHS compliant 4 x 4 mm QFN leadless package, and requires no external matching components. The HMC624LFLP4E complements Hittite’s broad line of MMIC analog and digital attenuators which are available in die, SMT and module formats, and serve IF and RF applications to 40 GHz.
