Only one month after AWR initiated its ‘stop waiting and start designing™’ ad campaign, dozens of designers have taken up the challenge. However it is Dr. Mark Holm of Selex, an experienced user of AWR’s Microwave Office™, AXIEM® and Visual System Simulator™ software, that is the first winner of an iPad 2.

To be eligible for the challenge and the chance to win an iPad2, current customers must share a story of their design success with AWR by way of an on-line survey while prospective customers must download and activate a free 30-day trial by first clicking on “Challenge” within AWR’s www.awr-startdesigning.com ad campaign microsite.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
