Ku-band Duplexer/Low-Noise Amplifier

AE14625-15250DB5370-LNAThe Model AE14625-15250DB5370-LNA is a compact unit that combines a duplexer and low-noise amplifier and is an excellent choice for use with satellite communications terminals, reducing the overall size required to house both components. The duplexer has a transmit frequency range of 14.4 to 14.83 GHz and receive range of 15.15 to 15.35 GHz, and handles 150 W CW. Isolation is at least 60 dB and return loss is at least 14 dB.

The low-noise amplifier in the receive path has a maximum noise figure of 3.5 dB, gain of 20 dB, and P1dB RF output of +15 dBm. It operates from 20 to 35 VDC at 100 to 180 mA. The entire module has insertion loss of less than 2.5 dB and return loss of at least 14 dB. It operates over a temperature range of -20o to +85° at altitudes up to 30,000 ft., and meets shock and vibration requirements of MIL-STD-810F. The unit measures 6.5 x 2.5 x 1 in., and uses SMA RF connectors and a three-pin locking connector for power.
