Z-Communications Introduces New 830-1300 MHz VCO
VCO: CLV1075A-LF Features Low Phase Noise
July 6, 2011 -- --Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CLV1075A-LF in L-band. The CLV1075A-LF operates at 830-1300 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-17 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -105 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 35 MHz/V.
The CLV1075A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 4 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 26 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -18 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard MINI-14S package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CLV1075A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
CLV1075A-LF is well suited for satellite communication and digital radio applications that require ultra low phase noise performance. Additional specifications for this product can be found on-line at http://www.zcomm.com/webstore/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=CLV1075A-LF.
