MAGUS (PTY), CST and EMSS announce the next major release of Antenna Magus, version 3.0 –

Stellenbosch, South Africa & Darmstadt, Germany, April 20th, 2011, MAGUS (Pty) Ltd, CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST), EMSS - EM Software & Systems-S.A. (Pty) Ltd announce the release of the third major version of Antenna Magus.

Antenna MagnusAntenna Magus offers the first antenna knowledge management system especially designed for antenna engineers. Years of accumulated antenna knowledge can now be managed in a logical way which is familiar to antenna engineers, as users are now able to add their own custom antennas to the existing Antenna Magus database.

The product database now boasts 148 antenna topologies and 7 transitions which can be designed for a wide variety of objective values. Validated simulation models of user-designed antennas can be exported to FEKO® and CST MICROWAVE STUDIO®.

Utilities and libraries that have been added to the Antenna Magus toolbox help simplify everyday antenna-design tasks. One addition is the new Chart Tracing tool which converts scanned graph images to numbered (X,Y) or (r,theta) values by simply following the traces with the mouse pointer.
