Z-Comm Introduces SFS6400A-LF C-Band VCO
San Diego, CA, June 9, 2010 -- Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant Fixed Frequency Synthesizer model SFS6400A-LF in C-band. The SFS6400A-LF is a single frequency synthesizer that operates at 6400 MHz. This Synthesizer features a typical phase noise of -88 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and typical sideband spurs of -65 dBc.
The SFS6400A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 6 dBm with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 40 mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 11 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This Fixed Frequency Synthesizer features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard PLL-V12N package measuring 0.60 in. x 0.60 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The SFS6400A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. SFS6400A-LF is well suited for point to point and satellite communication applications that require low phase noise performance.
