Z-Comm Introduces CLV0850A-LF UHF-Band VCO San Diego, CA, July 28, 2010 --  Z-Communications,
Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model
CLV0850A-LF in UHF band. The
CLV0850A-LF operates at 850-851 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-3.3 Vdc. This VCO features a typical
phase noise of -112 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 31 MHz/V.  The
CLV0850A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 0 dBm at 3.3 Vdc supply while drawing 18 mA
(typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of
-15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard MINI-14S package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in
tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The
CLV0850A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.CLV0850A-LF is well suited for satellite communication and fixed wireless applications that require ultra low phase noise performance.
