Parallax Corp. and Linx Technologies Inc. Announces Collaborative Agreement
Rocklin,
CA, and Merlin, OR — April 1, 2009 Parallax Corp. and Linx Technologies Inc. today announced their
agreement to a range of business and technical collaborations which will create new opportunities for both
companies and their customers.
“We are delighted to formally define a OEM relationship between Linx and Parallax”, states Linx President Paul
True. “Our companies have great respect for each other and share “Can Do” atmospheres of innovation and
creativity. This collaboration provides a refreshing example of how innovative businesses, with complementary
philosophies and product lines, can partner to enhance creativity and provide enriched customer satisfaction”.
Parallax’s Vice President Ken Gracey adds, “Our customers need reliable sources of RF products – they don’t like
end-of-life notices and they really value consistency and quality. This is one of the direct benefits brought by
Linx, in addition to helping us offer a very capable, low-price, long-distance RF product for our customers”.
As a result of this agreement, Parallax customers can expect an expanded range of products featuring Linx
components. The companies also plan to jointly sponsor an open processor design contest to challenge and reward
customers engineering skill and creativity.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
