Z-Comm Introduces the ZRO0837H1LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise VCO

Z-Communications, Inc.Z-Comm ZRO0837H1LF UHF VCO Phase NoiseSan Diego, CA, June 23, 2009 -- Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model ZRO0837H1LF in UHF-band. The ZRO0837H1LF operates at 830-845 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -120 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 7 MHz/V.

Z-Comm ZRO0837H1LF UHF VCOThe ZRO0837H1LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 1.3 dBm at 5.5 Vdc supply while drawing 15 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The ZRO0837H1LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
