Z-Comm Introduces the CRO6600Z Ultra Low Phase Noise C-Band VCO  SAN
DIEGO, January 26, 2009: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model
CRO6600Z in C-band. The CRO6600Z operates from 6590-6610 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO
features a typical phase noise of -102 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 18 MHz/V. The CRO6600Z is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 150 mA (typical, due to the doubler) over the temperature range of 0º to 85º C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -50 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard VCO-24H package measuring 0.866 in. x 0.630 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO6600Z is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
CRO6600Z is well suited for microwave radio and satellite communication applications that require superior 2nd harmonic suppression and ultra low phase noise performance.
