Z-Comm Introduces the CRO1220A-LF L-Band Synthesizer


Ultra Low Phase Noise at 1220 MHz

Z-Communications, Inc.San Diego, April 6, 2009 -- Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO1220A-LF in L-band. The CRO1220A-LF operates at 1220 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -118 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 2 MHz/V.
The CRO1220A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 18 mA (typical) over the temperature range of 0º to 70º C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -24 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s industry standard MINI-16 package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO1220A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
