Lab-Quality, USB 7 Bit Digital Attenuator

Telemakus, LLC TEA4000-7 USB digital attenuatorSan Jose, CA, October 29, 2009 -- Telemakus, LLC introduces the TEA4000-7, laboratory-quality, 7 bit Digital Attenuator with 31.75dB range in 0.25dB steps. The attenuator is fully terminated at all ports with a return loss better than 20dB from 1MHz to 4GHz. The TEA4000-7 is the smallest USB microwave attenuator available on the market. The RF connectors are SMA, with male at port 1 and female at port 2 allowing for easy interconnection. The DC/control connector is USB type A allowing direct connection to a PC or via a USB extender cable. The device also has 0.5GB of flash memory containing all the installation files, data sheet and test results. The windows based user interface allows simple control of the attenuator including a ramp function. The unit can also be used with common ATE software.
