PRESS RELEASE

Radiocrafts presents new RF solutions with Texas Instruments at ESC, San Jose, April 17, 2008

Oslo, Norway, 2008-04-03

Radiocrafts AS, a leading supplier of wireless RF modules for communication in the license-free

frequency bands, will present new additions to their wide range of RF modules at the Texas

Instruments (TI) booth (#1708) at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) in San Jose,

California, April 17, 2008.

Last year Radiocrafts was selected by Texas Instruments as a 3rd-party provider of modules and

engineering services for their low-power wireless products. To further strengthen this

cooperation, Radiocrafts has been invited to be present at the TI booth during the ESC show.

Radiocrafts offers the market’s widest range of compact RF modules with embedded protocol

covering all license-free ISM bands including 915 MHz and 2.45 GHz with FCC modular

approval. They provide modules with integrated and very easy-to-use point-to-multipoint

protocol (RC232 protocol), IEEE 802.15.4 modules, and special modules for AMR/sensor

systems based on Wireless M-Bus.

A new high power module at 2.45 GHz will be introduced, along with an all embedded ZigBee®

Network Module and modules supporting the new 6LoWPAN standard.

These very cost competitive modules are easy to integrate into the end products, giving

customers significantly shorter time-to-market, as well as a substantially lower total

development cost. The modules are based on state-of-the art technology from TI.

"TI is very pleased to have Radiocrafts joining us at ESC as a module provider. Radiocrafts is a

leading module supplier and has shown a strong commitment to TI through their wide range of

modules based on our chipsets," said Mark Grazier, TI Low-Power RF Developer Network

Manager.

“Radiocrafts is delighted to have this opportunity to present our products together with TI at

ESC. We have worked closely with TI and Chipcon for many years and have based our worldleading

products on their chipsets,” said Peder Martin Evjen, Managing Director at Radiocrafts

AS. “The modules are a great solution for all TI customers looking for wireless technology for

their products without spending excessive time and money for RF development. By using offthe-

shelf compact radio modules and professional engineering services, our customers can

focus on their main business of getting products to market faster.”

Radiocrafts will have a short product presentation at 12:30 AM on April 17, at ESC.
