Introduces the ZRO1751B1LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise VCO

SAN DIEGO, December 2, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces
a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model ZRO1751B1LF
in L- band. The ZRO1751B1LF operates from 1748-1753 MHz with a tuning
voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise
of -119 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 8
MHz/V.
The
ZRO1751B1LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 8 dBm at
8 Vdc supply while drawing 33 mA (typical) over the temperature range
of -15º to 65º C. This VCO features excellent typical 2nd harmonic suppression
of -30 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s industry standard MINI-16-SM package
measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel
packaging for production requirements. The ZRO1751B1LF is also ideal
for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
ZRO1751B1LF is well suited
for fixed wireless and digital radio applications that require superior
2nd harmonic suppression and ultra low phase noise performance. Additional
