Introduces the V804ME14-LF Features Linear Tuning & Low Phase Noise
Voltage-Controlled Oscillator (VCO)
SAN
DIEGO, September 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces
a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V804ME14-LF
in S-band. The V804ME14-LF operates from 2300-2450 MHz with a tuning
voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise
of -99 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 52
MHz/V.
The V804ME14-LF is designed to deliver a typical output
power of 4.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 25 mA (typical) over
the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features excellent
2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc (typ) and comes in Z-Comm’s industry
standard MINI package with low shield measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in.
x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production
requirements. The V804ME14-LFis also ideal for automated surface mount
assembly and reflow.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
