Hearst Electronics Group Adds New Director
of Online Sales and Operations
UNIONDALE, October 20, 2008 – Hearst Electronics Group,
the largest publisher of product information to the electronics industry,
today announced that Robert McIntosh has joined the staff of Hearst
Electronics Group as Director of Online Sales and Operations.
Mr. McIntosh, has more than twenty years of experience in the electronics
industry with a focus in sales and marketing. Recently he served as
Interactive Marketing Director for Avnet Electronics Marketing where
he oversaw all online marketing efforts in addition to co-producing
rich media marketing events, web-seminars and videos. Robert’s entrepreneurial
spirit led him to co-create Avnet PartBuilder™ a distribution first
and co-create eeTechBrief web seminars. In addition to his marketing
experiences, Mr. McIntosh has held various sales positions with Arrow
Electronics.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
