S-band Oscillator Delivers Low Phase Noise for Sat Comm and Point-to-Point
Radios Applications
Featuring: Low Phase Noise, Narrow-Band, RoHS Compliant
SAN DIEGO, November 12, 2007: Z-Communications, Inc.
is proud to announce the introduction of their new lead free, RoHS compliant
oscillator (CLV3150A-LF) in S band (3149-3151 MHz) featuring low phase
noise performance of -100dBc/Hz @10kHz offset. Its unique design offers
superior harmonic suppression of –15 dBc (typ) with a typical tuning
sensitivity of 13 MHz/V and covers the band between 1-4 V. This VCO
is designed to operate at 5Vdc supply while drawing 19 mA (typical)
over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85º C. CLV3150A-LF
is ideally suited for narrow-band applications that require ultra low
phase noise performance.
CLV3150A-LF comes in Z-Communications’
industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x0.22 in.
This amazing VCO is ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
Furthermore, this technology is available for a reasonable price of
$24.95 given its unsurpassed quality and unbeatable performance. For
further information on these VCOs or any other VCO/PLL product from

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
