    Kirt Blattenberger,

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

Event Horizons Introduces Microwave Switch for 24 GHz

Event Horizons Model EH95305B 22GHz to 26GHz Waveguide Transfer Switch

The model EH95305B 22GHz to 26GHz waveguide transfer switch features a simplified actuation system, enabling a significant cost savings compared to currently available units on the market.

BARSTOW, California -- Event Horizons, a company dedicated to development of unique electronic components and systems, has introduced a new waveguide switch tailored for operation in the 22GHz to 26GHz band. The EH95305B features a simplified actuator, and operates on 12VDC.

The switch is configured as a four-port transfer relay with WR-42 ports.

“The actuation mechanism allows us to create a reliable WR-42 transfer switch at a significant price advantage, which we pass along to our customers,” said Dick Kolbly, Director of Engineering.
