Millimeter Wave Technology, founded in 1981, manufactures microwave and millimeter wave absorber materials with major applications in radar cross section (RCS) management and in solving reflection problems (EMC & EMI) for wireless communication systems. Building on proven success using MAC 8101 for RFID isolation curtains with read stations in transportation and luggage systems, this custom absorber/isolation curtain has been embraced by EPC RFID users for enhancing read accuracy and throughput while minimizing unintended reads. Light, thin and flexible, as well as wear, tear and POL resistant, these RFID isolation curtains not only provide high isolation between the read area and balance of the facility, but provide a quiet zone which minimizes multi pathing and associated read errors. Available in custom and standard sizes, the curtains are designed to provide minimal resistance to product flow while maximizing data collection accuracy and throughput.
