Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The Internet was still largely an unknown entity at the time and not much was available in the form of WYSIWYG ...

October must have been really busy because I totally missed posting a list of good magazine articles for the month. At the top of the list is Alejandro Buritica (National Instruments) discussing the IEEE's recently announced 802.11ax WiFi standard, which is projected to provide data speeds of up to 10 Gbps in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ISM bands. There is also a pretty good article on capacitor ESR basics and measurement thereof. Items move onto and off of all homepages quickly, so even if you visit Microwave & RF, Microwave Journal, Microwave Product Digest, High Frequency Electronics, et al, regularly, you might have missed something in the list below.
