Engineering Career News & Tips for May 23, 2014 - RF CafeIt is hard to believe that nearly two weeks have passed since I scoured the Internet for job hunting and career guidance articles (been busy moving back to NC). With graduation time being here, there is particularly a lot of information and advice for first-time job seekers. Of course if you are graduating and just now beginning your job search, you might be a little late to the party - so to speak. Have you considered a career serving your nation's armed forces? Some of the R&D and real-world applications experiences can be found nowhere else. As is nearly always the case except in boom times, news regarding the true status of the job market needs to be considered with the totality of sources available. Ultimately, it is whether or not you get what you want that determines if the market is good.
