Insist on Cash When Russia is the Customer

If you think times are hard in the U.S. or Europe, consider this. The Russians pulled their Su-30 MK fighter-bomber, upgraded MiG-29 fighter and MiG-AT advanced trainers from appearing and performing at the Farnborough air show this year (2002) for fear that a court would impound them. Farnborough, England, hosts the world's largest commercial and military air show each year. A Swiss import/export company is owed money by the Russians and has an ongoing lawsuit. What a scene that would be - an aircraft tow truck rolling across the tarmac with a MiG on the hook!
