Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and technical guidance
to one or more Territory Manager(s) (TM) in their endeavor to sell company products, services
and solutions to assigned accounts or within a given territory resulting in the achievement
of a given quota. The Sales Engineer will be the key technical consultant assigned to understand
the customers' business and to develop product and service solutions in partnership with the
Territory Manager(s) and in line with their direction.
Partner with the TM to support their efforts to develop relationships with existing and

Able to analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements and promote consideration
of company products and services to fill such requirements.
Assist the TM in the preparation of sales and account plans.
Develop and deliver sales presentations that demonstrate breadth of knowledge of the company's
products and services and be able to strategically leverage the company's value proposition.
Maintain technical proficiency, competitive knowledge and industry trends.
Provide first line design and pricing documents including
transmission engineering path calculations, equipment pricing spreadsheets and high level
Collaborate with the TM in setting the “win” strategy on all jobs, whether quoted directly
or through the use of internal team resources.
Work closely with Product Line Management to be kept informed of new products and other
information of interest to customers and to be able to bridge the transfer of information
from customers to Product Line Management to influence future development and direction.
Provide constructive and meaningful intelligence on the competition, customer requirements,
market trends and product features to the appropriate organization.
Provide accurate and timely forecasts to management.
Manage priorities and tasks efficiently as well support internal teams in development
of proposals and implementation of projects.
B.S. and 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role.
Previous Sales Support Engineering or similar experience preferred
Experience with microwave path design and methods.
Background in IP networks and how they integrate with microwave radios is preferred.
Working knowledge in routing, IP, MPLS, Ethernet, TDM, layer 2/3 technologies is a plus.
Team players with a positive, can-do attitude. Cross functional team work experience is
