Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on RF Cafe's
Facebook page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.

Greetings:
I finally got around to installing the new version of the PHPBB forum software. It promises to be a big improvement once I complete all the configuration processes. While that is occurring (and after), you will be able to participate using your existing user name and password.
The old PHPBB2 forum has been disabled in order to prevent new posts being made and getting lost there.

Greetings:
After installing the PHPBB 3.0.4 software upgrade, I did not re-implement the additional math question in the registration page to thwart web bots from auto registering and posting crap. In the last couple weeks, there have been an increasing number of bot posts, particularly in the Circuits forum. Once a bot successfully defeats the visual code test, it has free reign on the forum.
So, over the weekend, I added the math question back to the registration form.
If you have any problem with registration, please send me an e-mail and I will take care of it for you. Thanks for visiting.
