Troubleshooting RF PC Boards - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. I know there are a lot of books out there on troubleshooting RF boards, but I'm hoping some of you can recommend one or more books that you personally consider good. I'm working with some multilayer boards that have digital and RF/analog on the same board (up/down converters). Frequencies are in the DC-3 GHz range. All surface mount devices.

Kirt can you make a new page on your site for troubleshooting books based on responses I get (hopefully) here? I have to believe a lot of people would like to know where to get good troubleshooting books that are recommmended by the kinds of people that visit RF Cafe.

Thanks --- David
