Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if

Does anyone know where can I find an RF/Microwave Power Amplifier in the range of 1-2.5 GHz up to 500 Watts. I found major manufacturers that they sell them but nobody even has it for sell either. Nothing readily availbale. My Frequency of interest is at 1.5 GHz and 2 GHz. Any help would be appreciated.

That's a good question. I am trying to qualify one of our parts that is able to carry such high power at that frequency. I can not say where would it be used but it is for space, millitary application.

If all you want to test is power handling then the 2500 MHz part of your quest is easy... get a $30 microwave oven from walmart. They are 600 W or so.
As for your whole frequency range, your question is way out of my areas of knowledge. I expect someone here will answer your question soon. Good luck.
