Welcome to the Education Forum - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. Greetings:

At the suggestion of visitor Waverider, this new forum topic area has been introduced. It seems like a great idea to me - don't know why I didn't think of it.

This forum is a good place to post experiences you have had - humorous and serious - in school. You can also ask for advice, get an insider's perspective on a particular campus, or volunteer your insight. If you are in high school and looking for a good college, ask for opinions here.

Here is a website called Rate My Professors that has comments on instructors (https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/index.jsp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Posts range from highly comical to downright scary. As of this writing, here are the stats on the site:

..Total Ratings....Total Professors....Total Schools
....5,381,446............742,149...............5,872

There is a webpage on RF Cafe that is dedicated to education that you might want to view if you have not done so yet. Please suggest any additional links or data.

Waverider's post:

Enjoy...
