New member - self-introduction. - RF Cafe Forums
Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views. It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if you would like to post something on RF Cafe's Facebook page, please do.

Below are all of the forum threads, including all the responses to the original posts.

Hello to you all!

I've just found this Forum whilst searching for info. on hybrid couplers. It looks a really useful & informative Forum, so I thought I'd join & then introduce myself.

The name is Al. I live in central England; aged 58; licensed radio amateur; employed in the radio broadcast industry as a technician. Radio & electronics has been my occupation all my life - but that doesn't mean to say that I don't need to still learn things - which is what brought me here!
I anticipate doing much more reading than posting to this Forum, but there will be occasions when I will ask the odd Q.; hopefully get good, informative replies. Maybe I'll be able to answer other peoples' Qs. Hmmm . . . maybe . . . I need to think about that . . . .

Other interests include mathematics, ornithology and Latin Jazz.
'Nuff said for now.
'Bye.

Al.

Hi Al
A warm welcome. Hope you enjoy the posts, and btw: there is a long archive of previous topics to trawl thru, so if you have time on your hands, you might find it throws light on something you have puzzled about in the past. I find it useful anyway.
