Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on
RF Cafe's
Facebook page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.

Rhode and Schwarts service in my opinion is very poor.
We have returned to them a SMIQ generator two times.
The problem we had have been commented to be a battery charger design issue that was making the unit loose it's factory calibration, by the support people.
Once the unit returned after chargin us 3000$ they returned the unit "un-repaired" with no comments. Only thing that have been done is a recalibration, and they did not fix the trouble reported. This took six months.
After a second return, now out of the waranty period, they just suggested to buy a brand new unit.
I was and I am still not impressed.

R&S is a very difficult company to deal with in terms of Sales and Service [including their Calibration service]. Their sales and management force are arrogant and misleading and this has been my experiance in the North East and West coast. My personal message is "Anybody but R&S"

I agree that customer service sucks at R&S, but their equipment beats the pants off of Agilent. Agilent, on the other hand, has great customer service.
