Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on
RF Cafe's
Facebook page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.

HP it's not!
I went to work for them about the time they split from HP. As soon as the ink from the divorce papers was signed, they started shipping just about everything to Malaysia. This included engineering positions. In the 4 years I worked for them, the site reduced it forced by 70%. That's right, 70% got laid off, fired, retired or offered an over seas relocation. It got so bad that Agilent was inventing new ways to get rid of people without having to pay severance. They fired 10 people for using company email for personal business. No warnings, just walked out.
A buddy of mine worked there 15 years and was fired one day and told his project was cancelled and they had nothing for him to do anymore. The mangement called him up a week later and wanted him to finish his project on contract for half his salary and no perks. Kinda sounds like the Wal-mart way!

Agilent's comms TE is bloated and hard to navigate the features. They charge an arm and two legs for every option. $$$thousand$ for simple software upgrades.
