RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience and significant experience with UMTS (Strongly preferred) or GSM/WCMA or Systems on a chip (SoC) or handsets. Knowledge of wireless communications theories and cellular standards is required. Extensive knowledge of wireless handset System-On-Chip development is also strongly desired along with an understanding HW/SW partitioning and hardware platforms. Working knowledge of L1, MAC, and signaling layers of cellular systems is needed. Experience with RF IC's / systems is also desired.
