Florida RF Labs/EMC Technology is an industry leader in the engineering and manufacturing of passive RF and Microwave components for Telecom, defense, and space applications. We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced RF Test Technician.

The primary responsibility for this position would be to setup network analyzers and RF Fixtures to measure and record passive component measurements in a repeatable manner, use automated test software and produce the required data reports in Excel. Design, Procedure, assemble, setup and conduct burn-in test. Read & comprehend, SCDs, Test Plans, MIL Specs, and be able to complete several jobs running concurrently. Solder SMD components & connectors to test boards for sample and prototype validation to support Sales and engineering.

Must be a structured and organized individual that works well with others, takes responsibility for their actions and initiates actions to insure positive results.

Strong analytical decision making capabilities. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and special analysis software to write reports, analyzes data and document experiments. Mechanical skills such as using torque wrench, drilling and tapping are required. Candidate must be able to organize and maintain an inventory of all burn-in fixtures.
