RF/Microwave Masters Graduate - Emplyment Opps? - RF Cafe Forums

Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views. It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if you would like to post something on RF Cafe's Facebook page, please do.

Below are all of the forum threads, including all the responses to the original posts.

Hi everyone,

I have just obtained my Masters in Microwave Engineering & Wireless Subsystems Design. Rf/Microwave/Wireless related jobs are scarce for graduates here in the UK. However, there are plenty for experienced people. I had a brief experience as a PCB design engineer over the summer.

I am enthusiastic about the US/Canada job markets for graduate level position in Rf/Microwave/Wireless. What are the chances for Work Visa sponsorship? How would I get my foot in the door?

I am willing to hear experiences from grads (non-US) in similar situations as me as well as potential companies/agencies in the US. Please get in touch.

Thanks a lot
