Oak Ridge Nat'l Labs Looking for SDR Designer - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. Greetings:

The world renown Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is in search of an engineer for their software defined radio (SDR) program.

The ORNL RF and Microwave Systems Group in the Engineering Science and Technology Division (ESTD) seeks to hire a software-defined radio (SDR) engineer for the creation, design, and development of a broad spectrum of SDR systems, i.e., RF and microwave radio systems that are software programmable, in support of ORNL's Cognitive Radio Program. The candidate will join a team of researchers actively working on SDR and cognitive radio technologies.

Please take a moment to read through the description to see if it is something either you or a friend might be interested in pursuing.

Take care.
