Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on
RF Cafe's
Facebook page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.

Here's a different twist. I'm not a hiring manager but am an RF engineer in the job market. I'm not getting any financial compensation for this posting, just the satisfaction in knowing that I'm possibly helping out a brother or sister engineer. Plus if I can possibly set a trend here, maybe I can get some job hints like this myself from some other engineers in the job market.
This is a company I interviewed with but decided not to pursue.
They are a small 20 people or so company with about 10 engineers. They design RF battery operated radios in the 2GHz range that are transmit only using CDMA direct sequence spread spectrum techniques. They are looking for someone with about 5+ years experience willing to wear many different hats in the hardware design process. In other words, someone willing to do (in addition to RF radio design) analog power supply design, microcontroller programming in C, digital design, antenna design, or whatever else is needed to get the job done. In other words, they are looking for an all around hardware design guy.
Let me know if you're interested. I can get you in contact with the right people. start_04x@hotmail.com

Well this posting can be dropped. I had one inquiry but it turns out the company does not want referrals. They actually prefer to go through their recruiter. It appears the recruiter and manager are old friends.

Haha! A company that deliberately wants to ignore good people from other sources and pay unnecessary thousands to a recruiter! Sounds like a real winner of a place to work! LOL!
