the equivalent circuit - RF Cafe Forums

Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views. It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if you would like to post something on RF Cafe's Facebook page, please do.

i have a question about an equivalent circuit.who can help me?
we know that the equivalent circuit of centered post(aligned parallel to the electric field) in rectangular guide is: two capacitive reactance elements aparted by a inductive reactance element (paralleled to ground) but,if the centered post is part of coaxial line connected to the wavguide,suppose that the other terminal of coaxial line is short.what's its equivalent circuit?,only connected with coaxial line shorted another side? Mr J.F.White did that in 7th chapter of his book microwave semiconductor engineering.
when i ues the equivalent circuit in ADS ,the result is different from which simulated in CST microwave studio and ansoft HFSS.
I am puzzled,

1.the structure is not the coaxial-waveguide transition we always mentioned
2.coaxial line(ordinarily air filled)
