Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on RF Cafe's
Facebook page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.

I´m trying to build a gps repeater with mga8657 rf amplifier. I´m using the layout provided in its datasheet and so far there is no way to receive gps signal on a ET332 gps module from inside a building.
Circuit details: (I´m not using the input inductance to improve NF, just the 50ohm stripline) DC blocking capacitors: 33pF Vd bypass capacitor: 220pF R1: 100ohm Vd: 7V
At the output there is a patch antenna of 45 x 46 mm and it is feeded at a point where it has 50ohm approx.
If someone could take a look at the datasheet and give me some guidance I´d really appreciate it.
Thanks !!
