Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. Hi !!

I´m trying to build a gps repeater with mga8657 rf amplifier.
I´m using the layout provided in its datasheet and so far there is no way to receive gps signal on a ET332 gps module from inside a building.

Circuit details:
(I´m not using the input inductance to improve NF, just the 50ohm stripline)
DC blocking capacitors: 33pF
Vd bypass capacitor: 220pF
R1: 100ohm
Vd: 7V

At the output there is a patch antenna of 45 x 46 mm and it is feeded at a point where it has 50ohm approx.

If someone could take a look at the datasheet and give me some guidance I´d really appreciate it.
