Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on RF Cafe's
Facebook page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.
guest2 Post subject: diode rectif ads sim? Posted: Wed Jul 20, 2005 10:16 am Hi I want to simulate my rectifier in ADS for different frequencies (0.1-3GHz) at different input powers (-20dBm to +20dBm) and be able to receive the 1-port s-parameters and later construct an optimized match.
How to perform 1-port s-parameter simulation for diode in ADS at different freq and power levels (-20dbM to +20dBm)?
Which Agilent diode model should I use? Is it correct to use the diode model from the component library (HSMS-xxx) for have an "real" diode with included parasitics, package etc for the power and freq range mentioned above including both linear nonlinear range?
Hopeful for constructive details and answers
