Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if

I am looking for the specifications (maybe an IPC document) that would give the dimensions for the solder pads for standard size surface mount components (i.e. 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 2010, 2512 etc.). I would like to have a specification so that I can reference a document, however, if someone knows of a website that can give these dimensions I will be able to start there. Unread postPosted: Sun Oct 03, 2004 2:59 pm IPC lists several optional solder pad dimensions for surface mount types like 0402 etc. depending on the manufacturing (soldering) process.
