Problem related to Stripline Notch filter - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. Hello everybody...

I m trying a well know design of stripline notch filter on Ie3d Softawre, but not getting good response either by modelling conductor as infintly thin or by growing thickness....

My conductore thickness is 6.35mm n substrate used is air..

Do anybody hav any idea abt the probelm which i m facing..

s21 attenuation shud be less than -60db at the design freq of 4.187GHz...

I m using coupled line section in the design..

PLz help me in this regsrd or suggest something..

Regrads
