22 Location: UK Hi, I am designing a PA for 1.8-2.0GHz application.
I am driving a balanced stage with a single ended stage. This is a class
A amplifier. My question is: what should be the minimum output return
loss of driver stage (single ended) so that I do not loose power of
driver amp to drive the PA balanced stage. Thanks. Top

373 Location: Germany The return loss should be ideally as low
as possible. A good starting point should be -10dB and lower.
With RL=-10dB, that means that 10% of the power will be reflected back
to the source (Single-ended stage output).
